My name is Chris, and I manage the internets.

Welcome to the online home of Chris Konizer. I work as a Product/Porject Manager & Web Strategy Consultant in Charlottesville VA, and play as a musician, amateur photographer, and self professed sci-fi nut [read geek].

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Arts Management from Shenandoah University, with a Minor in Commercial Music and Jazz Studies. After graduation, I spent the next 5 years running a therapeutic group home for emotionally disturbed teens, and interning at a Maryland State rehabilitative hospital. Although I’ve had a computer since 1979,  I finally entered the world of IT as a professional in 1999 and haven’t looked back since.

I am a Whole Minded, experienced project/product manager with an expert working knowledge of Web & Mobile technologies and Agile Development practices with a business management backbone. I feel my greatest strength lies in my ability to see past the immediate task-at-hand to how things fit together in the bigger picture, and helping other stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) see where they fit in to this process.

I wish to apply and further my knowledge with leading technology companies by leading and supporting creative, collaborative development teams doing work that is masterful and has purpose.

My goal with the blog is to observe, comment, and generally throw my 2 cents in on the way people interact with the technological landscape we live in.
